I'm considering 61 cards from the set to my Universes Beyond cube. This is a smaller set, so I'm excited to be adding fewer cards than I did for FIN, but I also hope to see this number continue to taper off as more UB sets are released, regardless of set size. A lot of this is replacing filler with slightly better filler, as well as testing effects that may not be good enough but that I want to test out anyways. I'm least confident about some of the multicolor changes, and expect that a fair amount of this is still near the chopping block medium-term. These may shift slightly if we get any mechanically unique cards in the upcoming Spider-Man Secret Lair Superdrop.

I've barely had a chance to cube with the EOE cards, but here we are. Thankfully it doesn't look like I'll need to cut any of them to make room for this set.

Should I print omenpaths proxies? No also since I don¡¯t do proxies.
I will definitely not by playing with any Spiderman cards. But I fully believe the main reason they're doing Through the Omenpaths is because they need a way to reprint these cards (primarily in commander precons). Give it a little time and I think most of the set will have been reprinted with its reskin. I could be wrong, but it's a lot of art to commission for an online only release.
I haven't paid much attention to spoilers, so I'll wait for the reskinned cards to determine what I'm interested in.

I don't believe reprints is the reason at all. The most likely reason they're doing Through the Omenpaths is because the developers of Marvel Snap probably have an exclusive license for digital cards. The ability to reprint them is not an issue since they could've done this otherwise like with previous Universes Beyond cards. Trust me when I say that WOTC would want nothing more than to advertise playing Spider-Man and other Marvel properties on Arena.

I would be excited to purchase paper Through the Omenpaths/Universes Within versions to replace the Universes Beyond cards in my cube. Not special frames or weird variants, just normal looking, Magic-flavored cards. For this set, if they existed in paper I would definitely swap Luis, Pompous Pillager over Morlun, Devourer of Spiders and Leyline Weaver over Spider Manifestation, (Edit: and also Goben, Gene-Splice Savant//Fleem, Goben's Creation over Norman Osborn//Green Goblin). There are also several new cards I would probably add to my cube if I could get a Magic-flavored version - for instance, I love the Duskmourn art and flavor of The House Grows Hungry much more than The Death of Gwen Stacy, even though they are mechanically the same. I would likely also add Biophagus from Warhammer 40K and Alpha Deathclaw from Fallout to my cube if there were Universes Within/Through the Omenpaths versions.
I'm not trying to put the Spider-Man set down in any way, I think it looks fun. I loved Spider-Man cartoons as a kid and enjoyed most of the Spider-Man movies. It just personally still feels weird to mix Spider-Man cards into my decade-old and thoughtfully-curated Magic the Gathering cube. Maybe that feeling will go away over time as Universes Beyond cards are normalized, but that's how it feels today on the cusp of the set release.
Peter Parker and Spectacular Spider Man seem solid. Ultimate Green Goblin I will transfer for sure.
Some lesser mentioned ones I want to try
Aranche could be a nice taxing upgrade, support blink value creatures, and just ramp out as a 3/3 on turn 2
The soul stone is interesting to me because i like high power , fast mana, and dont run signets and talisman. I will spare my story on my dislike for traditional 2 mana rocks but i think the soul stone kay avoid their issues. It doesnt support generic 5 color soup and has an interesting other effect.
Symbiote spider man gives some very flexible redundancy to these tempo discard decks and gives value from the yard

Quick note for your search filter, you can remove a lot of extra false negatives with the text search if you change them from (o:"boar" AND o:"token") to (o:" boar " AND o:" token"). Adding the spaces forces the filter to only look for whole words for the creature types and filters out cases where the only mention of "token" is "nontoken". Otherwise, really appreciate the article!

I did a draft with my Universes Beyond cube, and while I wasn't able to get feedback from some of the players, I did get some feedback on a few cards:
-Arachne, Psionic Weaver overperformed. Being able to peek was huge, and playing her t2 after attacking with a 1-drop happened fairly frequently, allowing the player to really gum up the opponent's gameplan. It's worth noting that even though you can't choose creatures with her, if you choose artifact or enchantment, it will apply to artifact creatures or enchantment creatures.
-Bagel and Schmear was decent. It was definitely a fan favorite (it was the only card that multiple players asked if it was in the cube ahead of the draft). It's a low cost card that replaces itself in both modes, and each one was relevant in different scenarios.
-Eddie Brock was surprisingly great. I threw it in on a whim, and being able to re-buy Masked Meower or bring back Cecil made the front side feel more valuable than I initially expected. The back side was unsurprisingly strong and hard to block effectively.
-Ara?a, Heart of the Spider was a good way to bridge the Equipment theme in Boros with some other counters-matters cards concentrated in white. Her card advantage was also great for a Boros deck, and I'd encourage people to consider her if you want a slightly different option in the guild!
