I’ve recently started getting back into Magic and want to build a fun, budget-friendly deck for casual games with friends. I’m not looking for tournament-level meta decks, just something enjoyable that still has solid synergy.
A few things I’m curious about:
What’s your go-to budget archetype (aggro, control, combo, tribal)?
Any underrated cards or combos under $5 that are worth grabbing in 2025?
Do you recommend building around a specific commander for casual EDH, or should I stick with a 60-card format first?
Would love to hear your experiences and see some budget decklists if you’re willing to share.
The boys were greatly interested in their shopping excursions, and learned a good deal about Japanese art and industry before they had ended their purchases. By the time they were through they had an excellent collection of porcelain and other ware, of ivory carvings, lacquered boxes, and similar things; silk robes, wrappers, and handkerchiefs; and quite enough fans to set up a small museum. They tried at first to get a sample of each kind of fan that they could find, but the variety proved so great that they were forced to give up the attempt. They bought some curious articles of bamboo, and were surprised to find to how many uses this vegetable production is put. Frank thought it was a pity the bamboo did not grow in America, as it could be turned to even more advantage by the enterprising Yankee than by the plodding Oriental, and Fred was inclined to agree with him. They changed their minds, however,[Pg 253] when the Doctor told them how far the bamboo entered into the life of the people of the East, and on the whole they concluded that the American couldn't improve upon it. The Doctor hesitated, aware of the uselessness of dissension upon such a subject where his companion was concerned. Another idea came into his head. "What sort of a world is yours? To look at, I mean. How does it appear to the eye and touch?" He came, a mild-looking elderly German, heavy grey moustache, and eyes hidden behind a pair of silver-rimmed spectacles. He was slow of speech and gasped a great deal as if he had some trouble at his heart. "That fiend probably told some accomplice," he said. for two weeks in September. Must I ask your permission, or haven't have disobeyed, but why are you so persistent about not wanting 186 She told him that she did not know, and tried to coax him back to quietness. The blaze of glory had gone suddenly from the clouds, leaving them lifeless gray, when she turned her eyes back to them; and the outlook across the parade ground was very bare. She went and stood by the fire, leaning her arm on the mantel-shelf and setting her determined lips. At sunset the camp surrendered. There were seven dead bucks found, but no one ever knew, of course, how many had fallen into ravines, or dragged themselves off to die in nooks. The Apache does not dread death, but he dreads having the White-man know that he has died. "The original notion?" "We've got to stop them—" HoME京香julia单体感谢祭
